Aerogility, Inc. has delivered Phase-1 of an enterprise decision-support system to the Sikorsky Aerospace Services Fleet Management team providing technical and logistics support services to the S-92® helicopter fleet.
The S-92® helicopter is a modern, multi-mission platform and the most
advanced aircraft in Sikorsky’s civil product line. The aircraft is
widely used in the global oil and gas industry.
The Fleet Management team’s mission is to increase aircraft
availability and decrease operational costs for its customers. A core
area of focus for the team is dynamic demand forecasting and global
inventory optimization; with the key outcome of getting the right
parts, to the right place at the right time.
Aerogility has implemented a holistic model of the Sikorsky S-92
helicopter supply chain utilizing intelligent software agents. Using
this model, the Sikorsky Aerospace Services Fleet Management team can
execute a wide range of what-if scenarios and simulations to analyze
demand implications and inventory tradeoffs. Aerogility is implemented
on a scaled, Web-enabled computing architecture, which means the
multi-agent aftermarket model can be shared by different stakeholder
teams across the organization.
