US single-engine aeroplane manufacturer Cirrus Aircraft has signed an aviation aftermarket services deal with Aerospace Products International (API), the US-based aviation supply chain services company.
API, which is a subsidiary of First Aviation Services, will provide spare parts and other materials to planes in the Cirrus Aircraft SR-Series line.
It will also offer Cirrus customers a round-the clock service, administering warranty claims and parts replacements, handling customer returns and managing all rotable exchanges on behalf of Cirrus.
Brent Wouters, Cirrus Aircraft's president and chief executive officer, said: "We explored all the available technology in the aerospace aftermarket and support industry and chose what we believe to be the most innovative solution to servicing our aircraft."
Dr Ahmed Metwalli, API president and chief operating officer, said his company was committed to providing world-class service to Cirrus owners, operators and service centres.
API has also announced it has been named as the distributor of ELITE (Electronic IFR Training Environment) software for the Chinese and south Asian market. |
