Meet the team: Carol Bridgeford

13 Feb 2019

Carol joined Aerogility in 2016 as a senior software developer. Carol is part of a small team creating Aerogility’s brand new user interface using the Vue framework — an exciting venture for the company.

Carol’s role also involves product development and maintenance, specialising in analytics and database script migration. She also builds the laptops for Aerogility’s new recruits, as well as working on office management and minor laptop repairs.

Before joining Aerogility, Carol spent three years as a software developer at local building services company, Smith & Byford. Prior to this role, she held the same position at Lost Wax and Cap Scientific, where she started her software development career. Carol has also spent time designing and creating a new, local health database for the Health Information Bureau in Epsom, along with teaching computing at a girls’ grammar school in Wallington and maintaining the computer network to help teachers and students make full use of the new facility.

Outside of work, Carol enjoys gardening, quilting and dress making. She also loves walking and playing with her two dogs, as well as volunteering one day a week as a kennel assistant at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
