2 Mar 2020

Aerogility is delighted to announce the appointment of Nigel Yard as our Head of Defence & Primes Division.

Nigel has established a successful track record working with leading defence consultancies and primes to help his clients to identify, win and deliver complex projects and programmes, as well as developing analytical insights and strategies to improve service delivery performance. His breadth of experience with defence companies means that he is very well placed to understand the complex decisions defence companies face today and how those decisions fundamentally shape their business for future decades.

Nigel’s accountabilities cover all aspects of the Aerogility defence business from contract winning through to the successful delivery of an Aerogility solution for customers. Nigel says, “I really enjoy working alongside interesting and ‘can-do’ people, and the whole process of innovating to help customers achieve their goals – I wanted to work for a company where we could make a difference – and I am very excited about working on such a ground-breaking predictive analytics product like Aerogility.”

Gary Vickers, Aerogility CEO, adds, “We first met Nigel when he was consulting for a leading defence prime and we were hugely impressed by his clear-sighted analytical abilities and deep expertise in introducing new and innovative solutions into large organisations. Nigel will provide strong leadership to our defence and primes team, both successfully winning business and delivering solutions.”

Nigel lives with his family on the Dorset coast, and outside of work, he keeps himself busy by working on his period Victorian house and pursuing his passion for diving and kayaking.
